Hebei Daily News (Reporter Feng Yang) April 15, the 135th China Import and Export Commodities Fair (Canton Fair) opened in Guangzhou. From the Department of Commerce was informed that the Canton Fair, Hebei Province, the total number of booths 1772, 1047 foreign trade enterprises exhibitors, the number of exhibitors hit a record high.
Canton Fair is China's important trade promotion platform, known as China's foreign trade "barometer" and "wind vane". With the theme of "serving high-quality development and promoting high-level opening up", this year's Canton Fair was divided into three phases from 15 April to 5 May to hold offline exhibitions and operate the online platform on a regular basis. The three phases of the exhibition area of a total of 1.55 million square metres, set up 55 exhibition areas; the total number of booths about 74,000, more than 29,000 exhibitors, of which 28,600 enterprises to participate in the export exhibition, to participate in the import exhibition of 680 enterprises.
The relevant person in charge of the Department of Commerce said that Hebei attaches great importance to the work of the Canton Fair participation, composed of a competent department leader as head of the Hebei Provincial Trade Mission.
